Privacy policy

This policy explains what Mini-me Money collects, why, who else handles it, how long it is kept, and what you can do about it. It covers the Mini-me Money apps for iPhone and Android, the web app, and this website, weos.cloud.

Mini-me Money is run by Wepala LLC, Houston, Texas 77084, United States (“Wepala”, “we”). Send questions about your privacy to privacy@weos.cloud.

The short version

• Each person gets their own instance: a separate server and database that holds only that person’s data.
• We do not sell your personal information, and there are no ads in the app.
• Bank links are read-only. Mini-me Money cannot move money.
• We do not use your financial data to train AI models.
• You can export everything, and you can delete your account in the app.

What we collect

Account details. Your email address and password (we store only a salted hash of the password), or the identifier Apple or Google gives us when you sign in with them. If you sign up while no instance is free, we keep your email address so we can tell you when one is.

Financial data. What you put in, or ask us to bring in: the names, types and balances of your accounts; transactions and investment holdings from the institutions you link; the statements you upload; and the categories, notes, rules and projections you create.

Subscription details. Whether you have Pro, your trial and renewal dates, and the purchase events Apple or Google report. We never see your card or payment details.

Technical data. When a request reaches our servers, our logs record the time, the network address it came from, the route it asked for and the result. They never record your password, sign-in codes, tokens or financial data.

Support messages. What you send us when you ask for help.

Website data. On weos.cloud and the public demo, cookies and similar tools record the pages you visit. See “The website” below.

How we use it

• To run your instance: keep your books, sync the accounts you link, read the statements you upload, and answer the questions you ask.
• To sign you in, keep your account secure and stop abuse.
• To manage your subscription.
• To answer support requests, and to send messages about your account such as sign-in codes and password resets.
• To find and fix faults.
• To comply with the law.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your financial data for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Who else handles your data

These providers help us run Mini-me Money. Each one receives only what its job needs.

• Google Cloud hosts your instance, its database and its backups, in the United States.
• Plaid connects the bank accounts you choose to link. You sign in to your institution through Plaid, and Plaid sends us account details, balances, transactions and holdings. Plaid’s own use of your data is covered by the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.
• Google (Gemini API) reads a statement you upload when Mini-me Money parses it. The statement’s contents are sent to Google for that task only. The app asks you before the first time.
• RevenueCat keeps the status of your Pro subscription. It receives an account identifier and purchase events, not your name, email address or financial data.
• Apple and Google take payment for Pro under their own terms, and run Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google if you use them.
• Amazon Web Services sends our email to you, such as sign-in codes and password resets.
• HubSpot hosts this website and its forms, and Google Workspace hosts our email, so both receive what you send us.

If you connect an AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to your instance (a Pro feature), it reads your data at your request, under your own agreement with that assistant’s provider. The provider receives what the assistant reads.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect someone from harm, or as part of a merger or sale of the business. In a merger or sale, this policy continues to apply to your data.

How long we keep it

• Your account and financial data: for as long as your account exists.
• Backups: each instance is backed up daily, and each backup is deleted after 14 days. When you delete your account, all of them are destroyed with your instance.
• Server logs: up to 30 days.
• A waitlist email address: until we contact you about an instance, or until you ask us to remove it.
• Purchase records: for as long as tax law and the app stores require.

Deleting your account

In the app, open Settings and choose Delete account. You can also email support@weos.cloud from the address on your account and ask us to do it.

Deleting your account permanently deletes your instance’s data: your accounts, transactions, uploaded statements, categories, rules and projections. It removes your bank connections, so Plaid stops sending data about them. It deletes your sign-in details and, if you signed in with Apple, revokes our access to that sign-in. Your instance and all of its backups are destroyed within two days. Records the law makes us keep, such as purchase records, are kept for as long as the law requires.

Deleting your account does not cancel a Pro subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Your choices and rights

• Export. Export your data from the app at any time.
• Correct. Edit your data in the app.
• Unlink. Remove a bank connection in the app at any time.
• Delete. See “Deleting your account” above.
• Ask. Email privacy@weos.cloud to ask what we hold about you, or to use any other right the law where you live gives you. We will not treat you differently for asking.

The website

weos.cloud and the public demo at demo-me.weos.cloud use HubSpot cookies, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to count visits and to measure our advertising. A banner lets you accept or refuse these cookies, and you can change your choice at any time. HubSpot sets its cookies for the whole weos.cloud domain. The Mini-me Money apps and your own instance do not load any of these tools.

Under some US state laws, using the Meta Pixel to measure advertising can count as “sharing” personal information. To opt out, refuse advertising cookies in the banner.

Security

Each instance runs on its own server with its own database. Data travels over encrypted connections, and Google Cloud encrypts it at rest. Your bank credentials go to Plaid and never reach us. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you as the law requires.

Children

Mini-me Money is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Where your data is processed

We store and process data in the United States. If you use Mini-me Money from another country, your data is transferred to the United States.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
